You have read the advantages of opening a blog with
WordPress. Since it’s also not perfect in whatever products and services it
provide, today let us see the disadvantages of opening a blog with WordPress.
1. Limited Freedom
If you have opened a blog in WordPress, you don’t have much choice than to
strictly remain with the designs and appearances that are provided for free.
WordPress hardly provides freedom for customization. If you cannot pay in every
customization, you almost have no freedom.
2. Expensive
When you cannot do even little customization without making payment,
maintaining a blog with WordPress will remain expensive if you want to go on
making changes with the change in your preferences. If you aren’t willing to
spend money for such things without getting back anything, WordPress isn’t a
place for you. Moreover their premium themes are also expensive.
3. Web Design Knowledge
If you are planning to open a blog with WordPress, you cannot sustain there unless
you have good knowledge of web designing. Everything is done in professional
manner and you have to be professional to cope up with professional demands.
4. No third party themes
You even have to pay in using third party themes in your blog. You are actually
being forced to use only their themes. You cannot use related posts showing
widget LinkWithin unless you have acquired domain for your blog.
5. Constant Changes
WordPress constantly changes the way your freely hosted websites are being managed. If you're not savvy with recent development it brings then in every possibility, you may land up with various web designing issues. Your well-cared blog may get deleted within a moment.
