If your blog receives quite a good number of visitors, creation of separate page as forum is highly recommended to farther boost readers' engagement and reduce its bounce rate. Readers can share things through forum. You can also attend numerous queries of your readers.
There are many tools that can be used to create forum for a blog. Many use Google Group Forum and others use Nabble. Whichever one uses, the ultimate purpose of creating forum will remain same-to bring readers together to share knowledge and doubts.
Let us keep adding Google Group Forum in a blog for another day. We'll try creating a forum in Nabble and then add in a blog.
- Go to www.nabble.com
- Click on Create Free Forum
- Fill up the details
- Click on Create Forum
- Confirm by opening your email
- Open the link sent by Nabble
- Click on Structure
- Click on Create a New Sub-forum
- Give required details
- Click on Create Sub-forum
- Click on option>Embedding Options
- Select (Ctrl+A) the JavaScript code
- Copy (Ctrl+C) the JavaScript code
Your forum is being created right there. Now let us add it as a separate page in a blog.
- Login to your blog
- Select the blog (if you have many)
- Click on Pages
- Click on New Page
- Give the Page title as Forum
- Select in HTML mode
- Paste (Ctrl+V) code of step#13

You have created forum using Nabble and also embedded into your blog. You can also customize forum design just like a blog. You just have to click on options>Application and then continue customization.
