They help bloggers for building email list and then marketing their contents via auto generated emails. This in turn will improve the traffic of a blog.
You can signup in any of the above free tools and implement in your blog. And one very important additional tools such tools provide for bloggers and website owners is easy creation of optin plugins/gadgets.
What is optin tools?
You must have seen features in many of blogs from where a reader can subscribe to newsletter of the blog. That is actually optin tool. Some will be floating and some will be statically positioned at sidebars or footers of blogs.
But professional bloggers' recommendation is to have floating optin for any blogs or websites. Because it will not only double the attention received from readers when they pop up but also increase the possibility of more readers subscribing to your blog.
People who have subscribed will receive all your updates as mails. And not only that we can also keep them in our loop and send updates that were made in the past embedded in mails. This will really increase the number of people visiting a blog daily, monthly and yearly.
How to install Optin tools?
Let me keep installation of optin tools to a blog using other email list building tools for later, today let me guide you through how to add optin tool using the last tool i.e. Mail Munch.
1. Open Mail Munch
2. Signup in it (it's free)
3. Give the details (email, password and your blog link)
4. Click on signup
5. Select the form type (popover is recommended)
6. Select the form themes
7. Give Form Title (this won't appear in optin)
8. Click on Create Form
9. You can change messages, appearance, fields, behaviour etc..
10. Click on Finish button. Don't click on Integrate button for now
11. A code will be displayed.
12. Copy the code and paste above </head> of your blogger template.
You're done. Optin will be displayed whenever a reader visits your blog. If you have email list ready in elsewhere, you may click on integrate to combine the list. I assumed you don't have this just now.
Hope you have successfully added popover optin tool in your blog and appears wonderfully displayed when you open your blog. If it has not worked, leave your queries as comment. I will see. Thanks.
